100-hour Enrichment/Module Program
with Donna Winters
Yoga is a living practice that flourishes through the passing of knowledge from one practitioner to another. The Balanced Yoga University Enrichment Program allows students to explore what it truly means to live their yoga by broadening and deepening their understanding of the practice, history and philosophy of yoga. While studying the beauty, grace and mechanics of asana, the physical component of yoga, students will develop a stronger sense of self-awareness through meditation practice and an understanding of the philosophical roots of yoga through reading, journaling and group discussion.
We are offering the 100-hour Enrichment Program in module-format for students who are interested in more indepth study of specific aspects of yoga. The weekends are broken down into 3 hour morning sessions and 4 hour afternoon sessions. The September 12 - 13 weekend is strongly recommended to establish a strong foundation for the remaining sessions; however, it is not required. Students can then take any of the twelve individual sessions offered throughout the enrichment. Down load this PDF for details: Enrichment Brochure.
